The Ann Arbor Spring Training Series began in 1985 and has continued since as an early season training series designed to provide a way for new riders to try out bike racing, and for experienced racers to do some early season criterium races. The Ann Arbor STS has become an early season Michigan cycling tradition, now in its 28th year.
