Overall 2013 Series Standings (after weeks 1, 2 and 3)
2013 Rules for Overall.
- Points for the Cat. 1/2/3/4, Cat. 3/4, and Cat. 4/5 races are awarded to the top 15 riders in each category. Points in those categories will be awarded as 20 points, then 17, 15, 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, etc.
- Points for the women's races are awarded to the top 10 riders with the winner getting 12 points, then 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, etc.
- Points will only be awarded as deep as the officials place riders—i.e. you're not guaranteed points if you were 12th but the officials didn't place riders that deep.
- Any ties on overall points will be broken by the rider with the most number of wins, then most 2nd places, then most 3rd places, etc. Any remaining ties will be broken by the best placed rider in the most recent race of the series.
- In keeping with the Cat. 5 race being skills and learning focused, no overall points will be kept for that category.
